Reading 1 Basics
Educators of low level literacy students (ABE levels 1-2, ESL levels 1-4, CASAS scores below 210) will review appropriate reading strategies to support student learning. A brief walk-through of correlations among CASAS scores, NRS expectations and College/Career standards will set the tone for strategy instruction. This is Part 1 of 2 reading workshops.

Educators of low level literacy students (ABE levels 3-4, ESL levels 5-6, with CASAS scores 211-235) will review appropriate level reading strategies. A pre-assessment of participant-instructor needs will determine the focus of this session. (2 hours)
